A Robust Network of Support Services

CancerCare® Co-Payment Assistance Foundation is proud to be affiliated with CancerCare®. Since 1944, CancerCare® has provided free high-quality, professional support services to anyone affected by cancer. Rooted in this tradition, we provide easy access to the full array of CancerCare services, including counseling, support groups (online, telephone and in-person), resource referrals, publications, education and financial assistance with treatment-related expenses such as transportation and child care. All callers to CCAF have immediate access to these services.

Same-Day Approval

We offer a proven platform for same-day approvals resulting in an easy, seamless and transparent process.

Through CCAF, participating providers are able to refer patients to us directly. If eligible, patients are conditionally approved for an initial dispense of medication – the same day. All enrollment forms are processed the same day they are received. For easy access, patients can enroll through our PORTAL site.

Seamless Process & State-of-the-Art Technology

Using state-of-the-art online tools and resources, we’re able to help patients and providers track both dispense history and fund usage. Our web-based portal is accessible from anywhere you have access to the Internet. It’s a secure and convenient way for patients, pharmacies and clinicians to access HIPAA-compliant data and treatment-specific information.

Patient Initialization

Accessing us online is just one way patients may be referred to CancerCare® Co-Payment Assistance Foundation. Others include: direct calls, fax, specialty pharmacy, physicians and hub organizations.

Eligibility Screening

Once the referral request is received, CancerCare® Co-Payment Assistance Foundation screens the patient for eligibility requirements, including:

  • Diagnosis
  • Product
  • Product insurance coverage
  • Financial qualifications (household size and income, demographics, etc.)
  • U.S. Citizenship (via Social Security Number)

Enrollment Paperwork Process

If patient verbally qualifies, the patient is mailed, faxed or emailed the official CancerCare® Co-Payment Assistance Foundation enrollment form.

Real-Time Insight

CancerCare® Co-Payment Assistance Foundation uses a custom-built database that automates all steps in the patient assistance cycle, including eligibility, awards, billing and follow-up, as well as all correspondence.
